3205291 Private John R. Brock

John Rupert Brock joined the 49th Battalion (E.R.) in France in August 1918. He was wounded by shrapnel during the Battle of Cambrai the following month but returned to duty before the cessation of hostilities in November 1918. Brock survived the war and as an American citizen, returned to the United States after the war. He passed away in Seattle, Washington in 1948.
