"B" Company, 49th Battalion (E.R.)
Walter Law joined the 49th Battalion (E.R.) in France in May 1918. He fought with battalion throughout the Hundred Day offensive of 1918. In December, he was reported AWOL and subsequently apprehended. He served three weeks Field Punishment No. 1. He returned to Edmonton with the 49th Battalion (E.R.) in March 1919. He married in July 1927.
