Guy Russell Temple joined the 49th Battalion (Edmonton Regiment) in France in 1918. He was wounded on Tilloy Hill with "C" Company.
Many thanks to grand daughter of Fortyniner Guy R. Temple for reconnecting with the Regimental family yesterday. Temple joined the 49th Battalion (Edmonton Regiment) in France in 1918 and was wounded during the intense fighting on Tilloy Hill that September. He went on to serve in the Second World War and tried to enlist again for the Korean War. Thank you Sherri for making the trip out!
